Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is a registered charity founded in 1976 and a unique organisation in Ireland, dedicated to providing high quality mobility training and aftercare services to visually impaired and blind people.

Our programmes include Guide Dog, Long Cane, Independent Living Skills and Child Mobility. The services, which are provided free of charge, bring mobility and independence to the lives of blind and visually impaired people all over Ireland.

However, the cost to the organisation for each Guide Dog partnership is €35,000 over its lifetime with over 80% of income coming from voluntary funding.

Each Sponsorship Card ordered requires a non-refundable booking deposit of €20.00. This deposit is part of the minimum €600 fundraising target you are asked to reach in order to complete your Tandem Skydive. It helps combat fraud and deters those who may not really have the conviction to complete the fundraising for their chosen charity

While we fully recognise and appreciate your assistance in fundraising and completing a Skydive 4 Charity experience in Aid of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, neither Skydive 4 Charity nor Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind can accept any responsibility for any injuries however caused.
