A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any age, during their life as a result of:

  • • Road traffic accident, fall or assault
  • • A brain haemorrhage
  • • Stroke
  • • Brain tumour
  • • Viral infection
  • • Lack of oxygen to the brain

    • On average, 50 people today will have an injury.Effects can be lifelong and debilitating. Family can become full time carers overnight. Specialised services are not available nationwide.We need additional funding to meet this demand.

    Headway helps by providing psychological assessments, rehabilitative training, access to the community, supported employment, information & support and a national helpline.

Each Sponsorship Card ordered requires a non-refundable booking deposit of €20.00. This deposit is part of the minimum €600 fundraising target you are asked to reach in order to complete your Tandem Skydive. It helps combat fraud and deters those who may not really have the conviction to complete the fundraising for their chosen charity
